Weird

Something strange happened this morning. It started out normal; Fish woke me up a little too early - I got him out of his crib - took him downstairs to feed him breakfast - once we got downstairs our eyes were burning because it was so bright downstairs! It took a second for our eyes to focus and we saw that it had snowed last night and it was covering the earth.
Now this is the strange part - I was excited! For the first time in a long time I was excited to see snow...not for my sake, but I was excited that Fisher would be able to go play in snow for the first time this year. I'm not sure what this means...maybe me being at the center of the universe is coming to an end. Maybe I am thinking more about him than me. Or maybe I just love seeing him happy, and what little kid doesn't love snow, or at least the idea of snow. Whatever it is, it doesn't matter we had a great time playing in the snow.
