I Swear I have a Life

I realize that I mainly have been blogging about Fisher for the past year...I am going to try to wean myself off that...and maybe blog about other stuff going on in my life. But, I am not ready to wean myself quite yet. So here is a video montage of his first year, enjoy.

Our Baby Survived His First Year!!!

It's a miracle, but my baby is now a little toddler. We had a party yesterday, it was Life Aquatic with Steve Zizzou themed.

He was intoxicated by a surge of sugar in his blood...the kid was drunk on happy yesterday.

Seth and all four of his brothers have had their year old picture in this cute little sailors uniform. Seth's mom brought it out for the party and we just had to take pictures of the cute little GundyFishBoy.

This cake is a little bit of my family tradition. My mom is a cake decorator, and back in the day she would make us these great cakes for our birthdays. She gave me a few of the old cake pans, and this one is my favorite, Hobbie Robbie. I am not that good at cake decorating, but I hope you can tell that the cake is Fisher if he were apart of Team Zizzou. Notice the gun holster and adidas shoes. I just want to keep the tradition alive.
Oh yeah, and what would a Gunderson party be like without a new bike? Fisher got his first bike! It doesn't have pedals, so Fisher just runs along the ground then picks up his feet to coast...the problem is, he can't reach the ground...not even close...so until he decides to grow he's just going to have to look at his bike longingly.

Yellow Watermelon

Fisher and I needed to go riding today. It has been over a week since I went riding, Fisher had a date with the baby sitter, but sadly he has his first ear infection. Because of that I took him riding with me instead of taking him to the sitter...maybe we should have just stayed home, but it was such a beautiful day and I think we both needed to get out. While we were out I thought it would be easier to pick up some groceries at a Mennonite market. This market is out of town on a cute country road right passed the cover bridge. Very adorable. Well they have great produce, so we stopped in and Fisher just had to have some of the yellow watermelon. Here are some pictures, I love how calm and content he is, just eating his melon. What's funny about how he eats...once his mouth made contact to the melon he never took his mouth off. I swear...it's so weird, he does it with bananas too. He just kind of sucks it in. Weird kid.

Fisher Visits Our Nation's Capital

Fisher visited our nation's capital this last week, and he was not impressed.

Seriously check out that grass...hello, is this the Ukraine?? There is no excuse to have a lawn like that...it's barely alive! My goodness throw some seed down. What a disgrace...power house people we are suppose to be a great nation. How can we be a great nation if we can't even keep the nations capital looking presentable. Okay actually Washington DC is ghetto, like lock your car door ghetto.

Fly Boy

This is our little Fly Boy...if you remember he has already flown a plane before.

He is always getting in trouble
