I just wanna dance

Today we were driving home from a much needed Costco trip, we were on Hwy 30 when we spotted a car pulled over and young boy around the age of 12 or so is out of his car on the side of the road dancing. That's right, he was techno freakin'. It made my day. He put so much energy into this dance...it made me thing of that saying;

Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching.

Road Trippin'

We have finally arrived in the good state of Pennsylvania. We drove 2200 miles through 8 states over the course 3 days. We are exhausted! That does not mean we didn't have a good time.

Like on Sunday for example, we stop off at Little America, the young woman who was checking me out at the register seemed to be in pain,
I asked 'Are you okay?'
'Yeah, I just have a wisdom tooth growing upside down.'
I said 'Oh that must be the worst!'
'Yeah' she said, 'I'm just gonna have my husband pull it out tonight.'
'Oh', I said, 'Is he a dentist?'
'No, he just pulls out people's teeth, like family and friends.' she said.
'Huh, well good luck with that...'

And then I left, I didn't even know that was an option, I was to afraid to ask her what he uses to pull teeth out with...anyway...that's a little bit of Wyoming for ya.

Then I would say that Iowa has the best Rest Stops for sure! Wi-fi, nature trails, scenic, automatic doors...and it was super clean...so Iowa get 4 stars.

Wyoming has the weirdest people at their rest stops. At one rest stop, they had locals there grilling dinner. Who does that? 'Hey guys let get together and have a BBQ.'
'Sounds great!, where?'....
'Oh I don't know, how about Rest Stop 47.'....weirdos.

Tomorrow we are closing on our first house, we cross your fingers, I hope everything works out...I just need to sign stuff right? Oh I can't breathe....

The Lost Coast

Today the pirates plundered Eureka California. We rode The Unknown Coast Century, and only 2 of us did the entire 100 miles...the rest of us were on out own quest for victory. I've done this ride a few times before and I have always gone on and on about how beautiful and difficult ride it is...so I won't really bore you with all the amazing details of the ride, except...that it was very beautiful and very difficult. The unfortunate thing going on is I have a knee injury going on...yeah every time the road goes steep my knee starts bugging me. I totally know it's the baby weight, and now I have a plan...stay tuned for my brilliant plan to lose the baby weight...it's going to be awesome. As for riding, tomorrow is our easy day we have a 30 miles ride in beautiful Sonoma County...will post pictures soon.

Eugie Out.

How hard is riding a bike

The annual Plunder of California is upon us. The family team has gathered in Nor-Cal to ride bikes...but with the pirate code as their guide. Yesterday we rode up Mount Hamilton...pictures will follow, but riding out here is amazing the scenery is top notch...the roads are awesome, and the food...oh the food...you know I hate hippies...but I tell you hippies know good food...I will post more later, but in a few minutes we head out to do the Lost Coast ride which will be an epic adventure.
